Cry out to Jesus

My journey with God has been a roller coaster ride, to say the least. On some days I would feel as if I was on the top of the world and nothing could take me from His love. Other times I would feel sad, depressed and all alone. I have come to learn the only true way to conquer my down times is to always stay connected with God; to wake up each morning and take a love walk with Him. Let me tell you, this revelation did not come easily. I fought many battles; battles in which I would like to share with you in hopes that your life may be touched.
When my father and grandmother passed away, I thought God had abandoned me, just as my earthly father had done in the past. I thought I would forever be alone and that no one could ever truly understand my pain. The pain was so deep and I thought it would never heal. I couldn’t understand why God could take away the only father I ever truly felt loved me and in addition, that He would leave me too. As I was sobbing from my pain, I screamed out to God, “Where are you and why have you left me?” With tears rolling down my face, I felt so much anger and bitterness toward God. Thank God that He did not feel this way toward me. As I cried out to Him, I felt his loving arms wrap around me. His Holy Spirit was there with me. I knew that I was not alone, he did not abandon me, and that He does love me.
God loves you too. He wants to wrap His arms around you. He is there waiting on you to take a love walk with Him. There is nothing in this world that could take His love away from you. You are a precious jewel to Him. Just cry out to Him and He will be there for you with loving arms. I challenge you to open your Bible today and begin your love walk with God. Begin allowing His word to sink down into your spirit and experience the love of God. God does not want you to ever feel alone. He is always there for you. I ask you, are you ready to begin a love walk with Him?
I would like to share with you a prayer from, The Tender Words of God, written by Ann Spangler:
“Lord, steady my heart, so that when life is difficult, I will not give in to the temptation to think that you have rejected me. May I remember that strength comes from living in your presence and relying on your faithfulness.”

God is an awesome God!!!! In December 2006, I was at a low point of my life but I was determined that only God alone has my destiny in his hands, no one else! And I am blessed today to say that he has brought me through that low point and I am at a better point now that I was before!!!!
Thank You Jesus!
