Inspiration for Rejection

Yesterday I was faced with a challenge.  I had to decide if I was going to believe the lie of the enemy or if I was going to believe God and trust in Him.  If I chose the lie of the enemy, I was going to believe that I was all alone in this world and that no one truly cares about what I have to say or who I am.  I was going to believe that I was worthless and that I could not accomplish anything.  This choice came after being faced with the pain of hurt and rejection.  However, I decided I was not going to dwell on these feelings.  I made a choice to trust God and to not stay broken.

With this choice I was reminded, “The devil came to steal, kill, and destroy; Jesus came so that I can have life and have it to the fullest (John 10:10).”  We have a choice to make everyday.  We have to choose if we are going to allow the devil to steal our joy and live in despair, rejection, and heartache.  Or, we can choose to trust in God and what His Word tells us to be true.

In an, Inspirational Blog, the author tells us that our one weapon against rejection is knowing that Christ loves us.  Christ does love us; He loves me and He loves you!  He died on the cross for our sins because He loves us.  Friend, never, ever forget the love of Jesus Christ.  I challenge you today to open your hearts and your Bibles.  Allow the love of God to enter and just see what He can do in your life today.  With God, all things are possible.

I leave you today with this poem borrowed from, Living Well Ministries.

After a While

After a while you learn the subtle difference between holding a hand and chaining a soul and you learn that loving doesn’t mean leaning and company doesn’t mean security.

And you begin to learn that kisses aren’t contracts and presents aren’t promises and you begin to accept your defeats with your head up and your eyes ahead with the grace of a women, not the grief of a child.

And you learn to build all your roads on today because tomorrows ground is too uncertain for plans and futures have a way of falling down in mid-flight.

After a while you learn that even sunshine burns if you get too much so you plant your own garden and decorate your own soul instead of waiting for someone to bring you flowers.

And you learn that you really can endure, you really are strong, you really do have worth, and you learn and you learn and with every goodbye, you learn…..

Scripture of the day - Can anything ever separate me from Christ’s love? Does it mean He no longer loves me if I have trouble or calamity, or are persecuted, or hungry, or destitute, or in danger, or threatened with death? 37 No, despite all these things, overwhelming victory is mine through Christ, who loves me (Romans 8:35-37).

Kristen, you are so sweet! This is a beautiful blog! I’m glad you commented on my blog…because it brought me here!
I’m not able to visit and really spend a lot of time on friend’s blogs like I usually do. God is keeping me pretty busy. I’m creating and administering “Christians with Disabilities.” It really is where my heart is at.

Anywho, very nice meeting you! I will add your link also. Thanks, and God bless!

Hello Kristen, I am glad that you ran across my blog yesterday. I have been on the negative side of rejection, and I realize now that that is only a weapon of the enemy to keep the people of God down. I realize that what a person says or does to us should not matter because Jesus loves us unconditional and he will never reject us, or hurt us in any way. God bless you

Ho Kristen, I ran across your blog and I find it excellent!

I love the message you convey in this post concerning the Strength Jesus Christ gives us. He never gives us more than we can carry, and often times he helps us carry the load. actually, he often times carries the whole load for us even if we don’t realize it.

Great blog, keep up the awesome work!

I am truly glad that you decided to believe in God. God loves you just because you are you. We are His children and He is our Father in Heaven. He will never leave us. Never feel worthless. Always remember you are born again you are part of God’s family and as such you can be full of joy that many don’t have because you accepted Jesus as your Lord and Savior.
