In my love walk with God, I have decided to take a new challenge.  A challenge which will help me grow closer to God.   My friend, Traci, at Ordinary Inspirations has given me this challenge of memorizing Psalm 119 to hide deep inside my heart.  I have accepted because I want to be prepared when the enemy comes at me.  I will be able to quickly meditate on God’s word to help me through.  I have decided the best way for me to learn this is in the form of a prayer.  I will say this prayer to God daily.  My prayer the 1st week is:

Dear Lord Jesus,

I am blessed when I stay on course, walking steadily on the road revealed by You.

I am blessed when I follow Your directions, doing my best to find You.

That’s right—I don’t go off on my own; I walk straight along the road You set.

You, God, prescribed the right way to live; now you expect me to live it.

Oh, that my steps might be steady, keeping to the course You set;

Then I’d never have any regrets in comparing my life with Your counsel.

I thank you for speaking straight from Your heart; I learn the pattern of your righteous ways.

I’m going to do what you tell me to do; don’t ever walk off and leave me.

Thank you Jesus, Amen. (The Message)

I will give you weekly updates and let you know how God is moving in my life. I know, through this prayer, through this challenge, and through God that my life will be changed. My love walk with God will grow stronger. If you would like your relationship with God to grow, will you join us in this challenge?
